We believe that every great pub is a centre place for the community, and we do our very best to support not just our local residents but also the wider Tunbridge Wells population.

First and foremost our pub is for good people; we ensure that it is staffed and made real by a team that understands the role of the pub and their part in offering hospitality. We understand that whether you want a cup of coffee at 12.00pm, some advice on local shops or a request for the use of our area for a local study group or a community event that's all part of our service, so please just ask and we'll do our best to help.

This is because we respect the fact that our regulars are key in creating the pub's unique atmosphere that everyone from locals to visitors from around the world appreciate.

We are dedicated to creating the finest pub around, we aren't a restaurant, we just serve great food and we make sure that continue to meet our customers high expectations through solid staff training, esoteric beer and food matches, wine education for both staff and customers and one central goal – to make sure everyone who comes to the pub leaves happy.
